The Ford F450 comes with a standard 5.4-liter V-8 engine with aluminum cylinder heads and iron block having three valves per cylinder and single overhead camshafts; this base engine churns out 365 pounds-feet of peak torque and 300-horsepower.
Moreover, the vehicle has an optional 6.8-liter V-10 engine that evolves 457 pounds-feet of peak torque and 362-hp of power. In addition to the above-mentioned engine options, a much more powerful 6.4-liter V-8 turbo-diesel, cam-in-block and four valves per cylinder, iron block and cylinder heads, rated at 350-hp of power and 650 pounds-feet of peak torque.
Coming to towing ability, the vehicle can tow 3,200 pounds and more than 16,000 pounds with hitches, and extra towing packages, which goes up to 5,700 and 18,400 pounds, respectively, if you try to add high quality accessories.
Exterior and Interior Features
This vehicle is impressively proportioned, on short-bed models too. It comes with a wide variety of paint and color schemes, and exclusive wheels to assist distinguish between special packages and different trim lines.
For commercial customers, a pickup-box-delete option is available, and the other features include standard PowerScope tow mirrors on some models, whereas the remaining models have manual telescoping trailer mirror.
Furthermore, the vehicle has an optional moon-roof on crew cab. The vehicle is available with rear and front step bumpers, and the Sirius Satellite Radio and navigation system is optional.
Additionally, this truck has an optional power-adjustable pedals and integrated trailer brake controller, along with the FlexFold rear seat that offers steel load floor.

The vehicle is equipped with antilock brakes, front airbags, and massive four-wheel disc brakes. In addition to this, it has an optional traction control too.
